2025-2026 BECE Home Mock Kicks Off Nationwide to Boost WAEC BECE 2026 Readiness

Today marks the start of the highly anticipated 2025-2026 BECE Home Mock, a nationwide initiative designed to sharpen the skills of Junior High School students preparing for the 2026 WAEC BECE. The programme, spearheaded by Education-News Consult, offers a unique home-based assessment system that replicates WAEC’s testing conditions while allowing students to write comfortably from home.

The exam which starts today, 15th August, at 7pm in all homes where candidates have been registered, will end on Wednesday, 20th August, 2025.

Marking, grading and release of results will take about 2 weeks while the results will be accessible online here

In a major boost to BECE preparation, Education-News Consult has also launched BECEPrep.com, a dedicated online portal where parents, teachers, and students can access free online quizzes, practice mocks, and the latest updates on BECE-related events.

The Home Mock covers all BECE subjects except French and Ghanaian languages and is marked by professional examiners, with feedback sent directly to parents. This ensures that candidates know their strengths and areas for improvement months before the official WAEC BECE.

Speaking about the initiative, organisers emphasised that the Home Mock’s flexibility means that students can write from anywhere in Ghana while still experiencing the rigour of a real BECE. “This is about giving every student the best possible preparation,” they stated.
