The 2025 school placement under the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) has been released. If you sat the BECE in 2025, this is your official assignment to a Senior High School (SHS) or Technical/Vocational (TVET) institution.

How to Check Your Placement

Go to the official CSSPS portal: www.cssps.gov.gh.

1. Click on “Check SHS/TVET Placement Status”.

2. Enter your BECE index number and Date of Birth. Ensure your index number is correct—errors here can cause misplacement.

3. Submit, wait for the system to load your placement details.

4. Verify everything: Your name, gender, school code, programme code, and selected/assigned school.

Self-Placement Option

Some candidates may be eligible for self-placement if they were not automatically placed, or if they want to choose an alternative school. Here’s how:

• Navigate to the Self-Placement section on the CSSPS portal (if available and if self-placement window is open).

• Confirm that you meet the criteria (usually no placement yet or the assigned school is unacceptable for some reason and you have records to support change).

• Choose among available schools shown by the system.

After Checking Your Placement – What Next?
