St. Mark’s JHS
P. O. Box 42
Kasoa, C/R
20th November, 2025
The Director
Bright Future Education Support (NGO)
P. O. Box 115
Accra
Dear Sir/Madam,
REQUEST FOR SUPPORT FOR OUR SCHOOL
I write on behalf of the students of St. Mark’s JHS to request support for our school. We have several needs that limit effective teaching and learning in the school. This compelled the school prefect and her team to research about NGOs until we found out about your excellent support offered to other schools like us by you. The challenges we face affect academic work and make our environment less comfortable for students.
Our teachers and headmaster are doing their best. However, some problems require outside assistance. Your organization has a good record of supporting schools, so we kindly seek your help.
The first major need is classroom furniture. Many desks are broken, and some students sit on benches without backrests. This makes writing difficult and causes discomfort. New desks will help us learn better and improve concentration.
Another need is a functional computer laboratory. ICT is part of the BECE, but most students have never used a computer. We only read notes without practical work. Computers and accessories will help us understand lessons and prepare well for examinations.
The third need is a renovated library. Our library has old books that do not match the new curriculum. The room is also dusty and unattractive. New books and shelves will encourage reading and improve our performance in English and other subjects.
It is our fervent hope that your organization will consider our request. Supporting our school will improve learning and give students better opportunities for the future.
Yours faithfully,
Ama Sarfoa
(School Prefect)
