The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is set to release the 2025 BECE results for candidates who sat for the exams between 11th and 18th June 2025. According to verified checks by the BECEPrep portal, all indications confirm that the release of the results is imminent.
The site was off at the time of this publication. When the site is back, students will see a “WITHHELD RESULT” button on the site. It is a new button introduced by WAEC. This is going to be scary and could mean WAEC has many students whose results have been withheld.

In such instances, candidates see a restricted screen instead of the usual login interface. This is a strong indicator that WAEC is in the process of uploading the 2025 BECE results.
How Long Before the Results Go Live?
Once WAEC completes uploading, it usually takes a few hours to a few days for the portal to stabilize and become active. After this, WAEC reactivates the portal for public use, allowing candidates to access their results smoothly.

After the technical process is completed, WAEC will issue an official press statement announcing the release of the 2025 BECE results. Candidates should wait for this confirmation before attempting to check.
