WAEC Releases BECE 2025 Result Checker Cards Ahead of Results

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the 2025 BECE result checker cards for sale, ahead of the release of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results.

Every year, the sale of BECE result checker cards precedes the official release of the results. This is a clear sign that WAEC is preparing to publish the results very soon.

When the BECE results are released, parents, students, and the general public will require a valid WAEC result checker card to access the results online.

Each result checker comes with two unique login details provided by WAEC:

  • Serial Number

  • PIN

⚠️ Caution: Scammers usually take advantage of this period. Always buy your result checker cards from trusted and authorized vendors. A fake Serial Number or PIN will block you from accessing your results.

Important Things to Know About the BECE Result Checker

  • One result checker card can be used to check the result of only one candidate.

  • The same card can be used to check a candidate’s results up to three (3) times.

  • Results can only be checked on the official WAEC portal: https://eresults.waecgh.org/

When Will WAEC Release the BECE 2025 Results?

WAEC is projected to release the BECE 2025 results soon. While the target release window is between 18th and 20th August 2025, the results are expected to be officially published before 10th September 2025.

With the checker cards already available, candidates should prepare for the release of results in the coming weeks.

What Happens After the BECE Results?

After WAEC releases the results, it usually takes about two weeks before the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the Free SHS Secretariat, publishes the 2025 School Placements on the CSSPS portal.
