The September 2025 BECE Home Mock starts today across Ghana for all potential 2026 BECE candidates. This nationwide mock, taken by candidates in their respective homes, will commence at 7:00 p.m. with English Language. The exercise marks the second home mock towards the 2026 BECE, organized by Education-News Consult.
Now in its fifth year since its introduction in April 2021, the BECE Home Mock continues to grow in popularity. In this edition, candidates will be tested in eight subjects out of the ten that WAEC will assess in the official 2026 BECE.
Students will sit for all core BECE subjects except Arabic, French, and Ghanaian Language. Over the years, the Home Mock has become the most preferred and effective preparatory examination for both students at home and those in schools across Ghana.
At the time of filing this report, all registered parents had already received their wards’ question files and exam access codes via the official question portal. These codes enable candidates to unlock and take the questions on schedule. Parents are expected to strictly follow the mock examination timetable to ensure smooth participation.
Registration is still ongoing for parents who want their wards to take part in the September BECE Home Mock and subsequent editions.
This examination provides parents with a rare opportunity to have their wards assessed under real exam conditions. Participants also receive relevant feedback on their performance in all subjects. Results are uploaded onto the official results portal, while marked scripts and marking schemes are returned to parents for effective revision.
Additionally, each candidate receives a detailed Chief Examiner’s Report, offering insights into their strengths and weaknesses by subject, as well as the topics they struggled with. This professional evaluation helps parents and teachers identify key areas for improvement ahead of the official WAEC examinations.
